"The Mitrenga Way"

The story of Ken Mitrenga, his legacy and impact on myself, how I conduct myself as a Person, Father, Husband and Business Owner is as important as the lessons learned through working with Ken, his friendship, his work ethic and personal and professional desire to "do it right" will act as the benchmark for this Project.

Ken was more than just a Great Tradesman, Carpenter and Businessman, he came from a unique era where he could do actually anything. From Foundation to Finish he was an actual gift to me personally and professionally, and he ensured that it was "always" done right.

Although I will miss him on this next adventure, his spirit, his lessons, his smile and what he has meant will forever be remembered. So as a tribute to that spirit and to remember his many contributions, we are naming the main throughway within Harbour View . . .  "The Mitrenga Way" in his honour.

Because there really is no other way . . .

Timing, House Plans & The Sales Process

  • It has been longer than we wanted and or anticipated but we are nearing the final stages of the documentation for this development. We have the zoning in place for the 27 Units/Lots, the Trent Severn Waterway has approved our Communal Docking Facility and we are negotiating the final Engineering modifications and the final Site Plan and Condominium Agreements with the City of Kawartha Lakes. We anticipate this will be completed in Q1 and we will break ground for Phase 1 in Q2 and Phase 2 in Q3/Q4.

  • We are working closely with the City of Kawartha Lakes Planning and Engineering Teams as well as the Trent Severn Waterway to begin the site alteration process for our Model Home(s) and our In Water Works. In the Winter of 2023-24 we completed the Dredge of the entire Harbour including the 405 ft of Community Shoreline that will house the Community Owned Docking Facility. During this time we also completed the Shoreline Stabilization of the peninsula that protects the harbour and the dockiv

  • From November 2023 through January 2025, we have been building a home (Crawford Series) for a family member. We completed the home to her specifications and have done so with pride and admiration. It is, like her….beautiful! My Mom had a unique design eye and in support of her memory we will be sharing pictures of her home to give you an idea of our Standard and Upgraded Features.

We have 2 or 3 customers that have been patiently waiting to start building and we will work with them during our Phase 1 and 2 timing window. We also anticipate the construction of a Site based Model Home before we launch Phase 3 which is the main infrastructure for the Development.

  • Our Partner Design Team has completed our Base Plan Library which will consist of a series of Five (5) Plans with optional additions per plan for Sunrooms, Garages, Additional Main Floor Bedrooms and your choice of several Master Bedroom/Ensuite Layouts and Basement/Foundation Options.
